Historic hotel
The historic hotel Granatello, heart of the albergo diffuso Borgodifiume, born with the spread of the conception of ecotourism, departing from the principles of the traditional hotel industry to promote a new approach to hospitality, based on the enhancement and protection of the village for a sustainable tourism and not just seasonal.
The historic hotel Granatello is located in the piazza di Santa Domenica, a noble palace of the seventeenth century. and is divided into an apartment and five rooms. It’s a fascinating and impressive historical building on three floors with panoramic terrace overlooking the village and overlooks the sea.
The Basic project proposal aimed at preserving the existing, has kept the spirit of the historic building, through a renovation done by dry and light operations. The 17th century was restored respecting traditional architectural elements, wooden beams, arches, terracotta floors and stone walls restored to new life by a careful restoration.
A place to be slow where you are greeted with the warmth of a private residence for a stay in harmony with nature, art, food and wine. A village, a residence that take us back to the rhythms of a forgotten past … and the knowledge and taste of beauty, good and healthy. We would like to give voice to an idea of future that rejects the past and maintain a harmonious relationship with the natural balance of an area still nice.
THE ROOMS
Our six rooms create an exclusive, restored with the intent of preserving the essence and charm of the old days.
They are distinguished by the care of furnishings and accessories: the old beams are exposed, period furniture are unique pieces.
The rooms of the residence, all renovated while preserving the characteristics typical of the homes of yesteryear are differentiated by type and size in an attempt to meet the different needs of the guests. In this place of simplicity, refinement and warmth of genuine hospitality come together in an ideal marriage.
On arrival all guests will be given complimentary our illustrated guide of borgo, edited by prof. Franco Del Buono.
All rooms have air conditioning, a safe, Wi-Fi, telephone, television and a minibar with unsweetened beverages. The case we are ready to make any kind of change in the rooms (such as adding a single bed), always ready to meet our guests ‘ needs.
Products that supplied courtesy of natural organic ingredients and use of fair trade by giving up petroleum derivatives, preservatives like Parabens, dyes, alcohol and synthetic perfumes.
